The first inter-municipal meeting in the SEED Step III programme started today in Novi Sad. Representatives of the City of Sabac, and municipalities of Kula, Vladicin Han, Apatin and Surdulica are participating in the meeting, as well as the regional project partner TARA International Consulting and the local partner Novi Sad Humanitarian Center. On behalf of the SEED program holder, Volkshilfe Solidaritaet, program manager Christine Gamper participated in the meeting via Zoom.
The topic of the meeting is the current situation regarding local employment measures targeting women and youth, as categories that are more difficult to employ. Plans for capacity building and sustainability were also discussed – through infrastructure investment in the future Training Point at the Technical School in Vladicin Han, as well as through the development of several training programs. The second day of the meeting will be dedicated to planning activities in 2021.
