International Day of Older Persons, October 1st, is marked around the world by activities that raise awareness of older people’s issues. This day is also an opportunity to pay tribute to the elderly for their significant contribution to society!

The theme of this year’s International Day of Older Persons is “Digital Equality for All Ages”, highlighting the need for access and greater participation of older people in the digital world.

NSHC, with the support of Diakonie Österreich and Brot für die Welt, is organizing a series of free workshops on new technologies. They are intended and adapted for the elderly, with the aim of making their daily use of mobile phones and other devices easier.

The activities are part of the project “Paperclip – Intergenerational Solidarity for an Inclusive Community”, funded by Otto per Mille Valdese.

If you are interested in participating in the workshops, please register by calling. 423-021 or 423-024 (from 8 am to 4 pm every working day).
